Our Philosophy

There is no best treatment for verruca, if there was, we would not need to offer alternative treatment methods. In our clinics we will advise on the most appropriate method for each patient.

A verruca is caused by a virus and is closely related to, and often resembles a wart. They can present as a single verruca, multiple verruca or mosaic verruca and they are usually contagious. They are more prevalent in children but are often found in adults.

Treatment options

Acid ointment – painless – suitable for children – must be kept dry between treatments

Silver nitrate – used if foot cannot be kept dry or acid ointment            method is contra-indicated

Cryotherapy – can be painful-not always suitable for children

Podiatry is the science of comfort.
